This comprehensive course will cover in detail the requirements for the safe installation of wiring associated with swimming pools, spas and hot tubs, fountains, hydromassage bathtubs and similar installations. Wiring methods, motor branch circuits and feeders, lighting, and sub panels will be also addressed in detail. UCC requirements for annual pool inspections and grounding and bonding will also be covered. Unlike most other courses available elsewhere, this course will not avoid the actual electrical wiring requirements associated with swimming pools. Our instructor has over thirty-three years of experience as an Electrical Official and has conducted thousands of inspections on all types of occupancies including thousands of swimming pools. His advice is sought after nationally. The instructor generated presentation will include many photographs from inspections he has conducted personally.

Topics covered will be manual and computerized estimating, bids and contracts, writing a proposal, overhead, labor/burden calculations, take offs and check lists. This is the complete 34 hours of CEU's required for license renewal by 3/31/2027. Includes the in-person two-part 10 hr. NEC update course plus six 4 hr. TEC classes (TEC27-01, 27-02, 27-03, 27-04, 27-05 and 27-06).
This course is intended to introduce the student to the world of automation. With the push to bring manufacturing jobs back to the USA, there is a new demand for electricians with training, knowledge of, and experience with PLC's. This course is limited to sixteen attendees with two students per workstation due to number of trainers.

Codeology (Intro to the NEC and UCC) - 4 hrs. This class is intended for the student who is interested in learning MORE about the NEC, UCC, IRC, NFPA codes and a myriad of other codes affecting the electrical industry.
Electrical Systems Part 2 (Calculations) - 4 hrs. This class is intended for the student interested in learning how to perform various calculations using the NEC. Articles 200, 210, 215, 220, 225, and 230 will be covered. Using the tables. Conduit fill. Box fill. Conductor deflection. Using Chapter 9. Using the Appendixes. What is Table 8, Chapter 9? Using the examples.
Electrical Systems Part 3 (Conductors and Overcurrent Protection) 4 -hrs. This class is intended for the student interested in learning how to perform various conductor calculations using the NEC. Chapter 3 will be covered in detail. Table 310.15(B16) will be covered. Article 240 will be explained in detail.
Electrical Systems Part 4 (Wiring Methods) - 4 hrs. This class is intended for the student interested in learning about the various wiring methods in Chapter3. Uses permitted and not permitted. Supporting and securing. Manufacturer installation instructions. Conductor fill and installation. Using Chapter 9, and the Tables. The appendixes.
Electrical Systems Part 5 (Wiring Materials) – 4 hrs. This class is intended for the student interested in learning about various wiring materials and equipment. Service equipment, cutout boxes, and meter enclosures will be covered. Following UL listing standards. Using the internet as a resource.
Electrical Systems Part 6 (Motors, Generators, HVAC) – 4 hrs. This class is intended for the student interested in learning about special equipment. Motors, HVAC equipment (including the correct way to wire a AC unit), transformers, appliances, heating equipment and other equipment. Signs, welders and other Chapter 6 articles will be covered. Article 680 – swimming pools will be covered in detail. New Jersey specific requirements will be covered in detail including commercial pools requirements

10 Hour 2023 NEC Changes Update Seminar (Both days MUST be attended for credit)
This class will cover most of the major changes to the 2023 National Electric Code. Chapters 1-4 will be reviewed. This is a two-day seminar and can only be attended in-person. (Check schedule for locations)
